How putting down the camera improved my photography skills

I long for the day when people would hear the name Janique Goff Madison and think about my body of work. As an aspiring pro photographer, my love for the craft started when I was very young. When I started going to college and learning all the technicalities, taking photos started feeling like a chore. Even if I consider photography to be a passion, I started feeling burnt out. Thankfully, one of my mentors encouraged me to spend a part of my vacation without a camera.
